    I’ve supplied …
I’ve supplied Wal-Mart with my speaker enclosures. They can care less about made in the USA. They purchased my products for a short period of time then sent a auditor to check my manufacturing cost and profits. They came to the conclusion that I could give THEM a better price if I had it made in China. I told them that I’ve never dealt with anyone in China and wouldn’t know where to start. They said that they had connections and they would help. I declined and 2 weeks latter they dropped me.

China-mart started out advertising that everything was Made in the US. They bought up all their suppliers, closed them, and sent the work to China.

    This was ridiculous …
This was ridiculous. They showed a furniture store out of business because of Walmart. Have they never stepped foot into the furniture department of a walmart? It will never cause a furniture store to go out of business. Or any specialty store for that matter. And does anyone realize how Sam Walton started? He started off like that man near the beginning. He didn’t have money. He had a small building and he was practically selling things at cost so people could afford it. And he was successful.

    I’d recommend using …
I’d recommend using craig’s list, going to yard sales, antique shops and shows. As well as conventions and start borrowing from ppl that trust you and give back to them stuff you owe them.

My neighborhood just did a yard sale a week ago and like 7 of our houses pitched in.

    Well that aint …
Well that aint happening. I know at my Wal Mart the parking lot is always full no matter the time of day. I usually don’t shop there just because its always crowded. There is a certain thing they sell at walmart that only costs 9$ but when I go to the local places they charge 19$, luckily for the local places wal mart is sold out of the product 90% of the time so I’m forced to buy local.

    THE ANSWER IS: stop …
THE ANSWER IS: stop buying foreign products when you can buy american ones. Stop shopping at Wal Mart, a company that is arguably the biggest reason for the decline of western civilization second to our undeclared wars in the middle east. You can’t complain about the economy if you buy foreign. You are supporting the shipping of jobs from our country directly to communist nations everytime you do business with large corporations like Wal Mart. Without consumers these companies are nothing.

    I hear all this …
I hear all this complaining but whats the answer? Do you want the government to step in and no longer allow small businesses to get too big? I’m sure the current people in charge would love to do that.Maybe have government set prices? Example: This shirt shall cost no less than 20$ even if there is a store that can afford to sell it for 10$. Again, I’m sure the current government would have no problems with setting prices for everything.
